Sumax designs and master distributes Taylor spark plug wires and battery cables. Spark plug wires are known for their color assortment and High Performance features. World records have been set at drag strips, race tracks and Bonneville Salt Flats.
Sumax fiberglass products include a wide assortment of fenders and saddle bags. A self sufficient department creates their own tooling and molds for production. Their new line of saddlebag brackets let you create your own Softail, Dyna and Sportster baggers. Their design allows the customer to use Harley bags or Sumax’s own bags. Sumax does sub contract work for some of the biggest names in the business.
Services:
Sumax’s Special Effects Powder Coating. Sumax, the original company to offer it exclusively for motorcycles, has been powder coating for 30 years. Many of their powders are specifically made for them. Sumax’s prep and painting techniques has produced a non fading smooth as glass finish. Sumax is the company by which all other powder coaters are judged.
Sumax products are distributed by Drag Specialities, Biker’s Choice, Mid USA, Tedd Cycle and TEC in the U.S.. European distributors include Zodiac, Motorcycle Storehouse, and Custom Chrome Europe. Parts Max distributes their products throughout Asia.
Sale of business includes 11,000 sq foot clear span steel building located in an industrial park, state of the art equipment, tooling, molds and established accounts. Building be leased as an option. Kirk will also stay on for a period of time to ensure success. Total price $870,000.00.
