Harley-Davidson Plans To Set Up Facility For Manufacturing Bikes In India

One of the most memorable slogans of the American bike manufacturer Harley-Davidson is 'The road starts here, it never ends', which does complete justice to its new plans for India. In an attempt to make its iconic bikes more affordable for Indian buyers, the company is planning to set up a full fledged manufacturing plant in the country to localise the production process completely. The company already had a successful stint in the country after it set-up a CKD assembly plant in Haryana back in 2011.
