AIM has updated their billet pressure plate for better clutch operation under high clutch spring pressure for ’98 and later Big Twin models. When using a Heavy-Duty spring with Stock casting pressure plate, you may have difficulty finding neutral which is caused by flexing retaining ring and pressure plate.
The AIM Billet pressure plate is much stronger than stock and the release plate is not pushing against flexing retaining ring by relocating retaining ring position. This is said to result in more than 10% improved clutch separation and neutral being more easily found. AIM Billet Pressure plate is made of precision CNC machined top grade aluminum.AIM Tamachi
