Star Tron Supports Florida-based Hoka Hey Challenge Riders

Star brite, the manufacturer of Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment, is proud to announce its support of three Florida-based riders in this year’s Hoka Hey Challenge.  Julia Chiriboga, the “Harleybabe,” John “Paco” Wener and Gabriel Jose Carrera, “the attorney who rides” will be competing in the 10,000 mile 2016 Hoka Hey Challenge.
Julia Chiriboga
Chiriboga is one of the youngest females to ever compete in the Challenge, but is no stranger to long-distance rides. In 2015, she racked up more than 25,000 miles on her bike, crisscrossing the US several times. Carrera rode from Tiera del Fuego to Alaska in 2015 in ride that was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Wener has been known to ride from South Florida to Indiana to test new rain gear.

The rules require riders to use American-made V-Twin motorcycles; Carrera will ride a Harley Davidson Police Electra Glide, Chiriboga, the youngest female in this year’s event, will ride a Harley Davidson Street Glide while Wener will be riding an Indian. All three riders are seasoned veterans of 1,000 mile “Iron Butt” rides during which they relied on Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment to ensure maximum cruising range and reliability.

Kicking off on June 21, 2016 in Southern California, the Challenge will take riders to the coast of Maine before heading to the finish line in Irving, New York. The Hoka Hey Challenge is perhaps the ultimate test of a rider’s stamina, endurance and perseverance. No support teams are allowed, nor can riders use electronic navigation devices. Adding to the physical demands of 1,000+ mile days, riders must camp near their bike in a tent or a hammock. In order to prevent the Challenge from becoming a race to the finish line, any participant who receives any moving violation will be disqualified.
Star brite is proud to be helping these riders achieve their dreams. Star Tron and many other motorcycle, boat, RV, automotive, outdoor power equipment and home care items are manufactured at the Company’s facility in Montgomery, Alabama, from which they are distributed globally.
