Harley-Davidson and Biker Website Clash Over Name


A motorcycle enthusiast has the "lawyer from Hell" to defend himself from accusations by Harley-Davidson Inc. that his social network infringes on the company's name.
       James Coulbourne says he owns the website HarleySpace.com, but that Harley-Davidson has told him to stop using the name because it's a trademark infringement.
       The Delaware man's attorney is Fritz Clapp, who represents the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club in intellectual property cases and goes by the name "lawyer from Hell" on his website.
       He has agreed to represent Coulbourne, who isn't a member of the motorcycle club, at no charge.
       It's a freedom-of-speech issue, according to the Beverly Hills, Calif., attorney.
       Harley-Davidson doesn't see it that way.
