Sturgis Report: Michael Lichter Jeff Decker Exhibit

The industry party hosted by Michael Lichter of the work and collections of sculpter Jeff Decker was very well attended. Many industry luminaries were in attendance, this is by no means an exhaustive list, but some of the people we spoke with were Burt Baker and James Simonelli of BAKER Drivetrain, Ted Sands and Mark Finney of Performance Machine, Ray Drea of Harley-Davidson, as well as the legendary Clyde Fessler, Hall of Famers Larry Coleman of Barnett Performance, Rogue Herelehy, and Chris Summers. Artist David Uhl, Pat Simmons of the Doobie Brotheres, Laura and Brian Klock and their extended family, Jill and Zack Parham, Kyle and George Marakas of K&G Cycles, video crews from around the world, as well as the motorcycling press from the four corners of the globe.
Free beer, and food, and a cash bar kept the crowd lubricated and the conversation flowing.
The exhibit featured Jeff Decker's completed sculptures, as well as some in progress, and Jeff's extensive collection of motorcycle club colors, historic racer's apparel and of course some truly wonderful motorcycles.
An excellent time was had by all.
