Springfield Massachusetts Harley Dealer To Close After 56 Years

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - It is the end of an era for a popular Springfield area Harley-Davidson dealership. After more than five decades of serving the region's motorcycle needs, the owners of Tibby's Harley-Davidson at 227 Berkshire Avenue in Springfield announced they will be closing.


The dealership's Website announces: "It's the end of an era. Tibby's has decided to retire from its position as an authorized Harley-Davidson dealership effective June 30, 2011. We extend our deepest thanks to our loyal customers for the many great years we had. We welcome you to please visit within the next few weeks so that we may personally wish each other well. 1956—2011"
