Japanese Motorcycle Exports to US Up

The latest figures for the Japanese Automobile Manufacturer's Association show that In September 2010 motorcycle exports averaged a worldwide 29.2% increase over the same period in 2009. 8,174 motorcycles were exported to the US in September, a 66% increase over the same period last year. 


The first half of the 2010 calendar year shows a 59.6% increase in imports to the US over the first half of 2009. 

Motorcycle manufacturers represented by JAMA include  Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki.
