York County Harley-Davidson Plant Changes Underway

 

Inside the York County Harley-Davidson plant, workers assemble about 500 motorcycles each day. The plant has been an important part of the community for three decades. But big changes are well underway. Plant General Manager Ed Magee is overseeing the extensive plans to make this plant more competitive and the workforce more flexible for the future. He says, "It's a physical change as well as a cultural and a system change in the factory. This is the future of how all Harley-Davidson manufacturing will assemble products in the future".
