  • Taxable sales $11,400,000 up 12.7%
  • State Sales Tax Yield $456,986 up 13%
  • Sturgis City Sales Tax Collected $228,493 up 13%
  • Vender Fee Revenue $273,330 up 13%
  • City Rental Property Revenue $228,247 ip 29.8%
  • Sponsorship Revenue $319,673 up 28.7%
  • Sanitation Fee Revenue $118,126 down 8.1%
  • SD Dept of Tourism Tax Collected $170,191 up 13.1%

  •      Traffic Counts –For Official Week -from Saturday August 7 Traffic Counts were up 17.2% to 601,324 (498,317 or 13%+)
  •      Strong performance despite economic uncertainty and motorcycle industry slump

  •      Sales tax has gained every month in 2010 except June
