Cycle Sounds Motorcycle Audio

We rolled by the Cycle Sounds trailer on Lazelle in Sturgis and got to see the bullet speakers in person. Being naturally skeptical that such a small speaker could provide enough volume while rolling down the road at speed, we asked for a demonstration. The sound quality and volume were surprisingly good.

The chromed amplifier tucks away neatly to the crash bar mount (the bar is still usable) and the wiring runs discreetly from the unit to the handlebars and your choice of MP3 player, iPod, or even your iPhone. The speakers are marine grade and the secret to their fidelity and volume is the extreme directionality. When aimed directly at your ears, they work very well.

Also seen at Cycle Sounds were amplified Saddle Bag Lids, which incorporate a mini amplifier and 6x9-inch speakers. The lids are available either with or without speakers. The speaker provided are marine grade and are protected by a waterproof grill so there is no need to worry about moisture getting to the electronics. The lids are a direct replacement for standard Harley-Davidson hard bag lids '93 and up. The harness is equipped with quick releases for easy disconnect.
