U.S. Harley-Davidson dealers expect to sell 44,000 to 46,000 motorcycles in the second quarter, based on April and May trends, according to a dealer survey report from Robert W. Baird & Co.
The trend is 18% below last year's sales, but an improvement from the 24% decline in the first quarter. Sales of used bikes improved for the second consecutive quarter, up 7% from the first quarter of last year, according to the report.
