Company Is the Exclusive Welding Partner of the New Custom Chopper Shop
Lincoln Electric is proud to announce its new partnership with design firm and custom motorcycle shop, Paul Jr. Designs. Founded by Paul Teutul Jr., formerly of Orange County Choppers and star of the hit television show American Chopper on TLC, the new shop is gearing up for the next season of the reality show by stocking it’s brand new facility with top of the line equipment, including Lincoln Electric welders and consumables.
“We are excited to announce our partnership with Paul Jr. Designs and look forward to our products contributing to the success of this new company,” said Phillip Wittke, marketing director for Lincoln Electric. “Paul Jr. Designs shares the same commitment to innovation that has driven the success of Lincoln Electric for the last 115 years. We are happy to be associated with such a visible personality that has influenced so many of America’s small fabricators.”
Paul Jr. Designs partners with companies to design and build custom choppers. Located within 300-ft. of the original Orange Country Chopper’s shop, the new shop’s start up will be the focus of next season’s American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior.
As part of the multi-year partnership, Lincoln Electric, the world leader in welding products, will be the exclusive welding equipment provider for Paul Jr. Designs’ 7,200-square-foot shop in Newburgh, N.Y.
“Lincoln Electric products are the best in the industry and the only welding equipment we would use in our new shop,” commented Paul Teutul Jr. “We are anxious to start welding and see how the latest advancements benefit our bikes and products. Lincoln equipment gives us the quality and performance we need to weld the best design for our customers.”
After ten years of employment with Orange County Choppers, Paul Teutul Jr. left to start his own design company and custom chopper shop, Paul Jr. Designs. While focused primarily on building custom bikes and products, the new company is also pursuing creative partnerships with companies, like Coleman® grills, for product design. American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior will follow Paul Teutul Sr. as he operates his Orange County Choppers motorcycle business in Newburgh, N.Y. while his son Paul Jr. runs his own Paul Jr. Designs startup design company and custom chopper shop 300-ft. from Orange Country Choppers original location.
