Lincoln Electric has released its 115 Year Limited Edition Viking helmet commemorating the company’s 115th year in business.
The new auto-darkening welding helmet features internally mounted continuous variable control and commemorative Lincoln graphics of founders, James F. Lincoln and John C. Lincoln.
Other graphics include a 115 year logo, a 1927 cross-country pipe welding project using Fleetweld 5 and a welder repairing an airplane with a Shield-Arc motor generator set in 1944.
The helmet is lightweight at just 19 oz. and has a nine to 13 shade control and sensitivity adjustments for different welding environments.
The limited-edition Viking helmet has a grind mode that is ideal for weld prep and post-weld clean-up activities. It is solar-powered with battery assistance, eliminating the need for an on and off switch. In addition, the limited edition helmet has a substantial view size of 3.78 x 1.85 in. (96 x 47 mm) and top quality LCD optics that deliver a clear, natural view.
Like all Viking helmets, the cartridge designs are ANSI and CAN/CSA third-party tested. Bonus features include a Sport-Pak style helmet bag and a Lincoln Electric bandana.
