Last year Big Bear Choppers, located in Big Bear Lake, California, achieved Euro III approval for distribution in Europe. Since then, their international sales have steadily increased. To facilitate their growing overseas market Big Bear Choppers recently developed new transport racks to ensure safe, convenient international shipment of their motorcycles at greatly reduced costs.
Designed by BBC’s Engineering department using state of the art solid modeling, these new transport racks include an integrated ramp for easy loading and unloading, and allow twice the number of bikes to be shipped in a typical shipping container, reducing shipping costs by 50 percent. The transport racks also offer significantly improved protection against any damage that might occur to the bikes during overseas shipment.
