Sumax introduces their new line of Hard Bags to fit all year Softail models with the exception of the Deuce and Rocker. Composite fiberglass tough bags feature a sandable primer gel coat exterior. The interiors are finished in a rich charcoal trunk lining. Two weather seals makes bags water tight. Bags open to the front with a stainless steel hinge. Push down to close with a rear lock-able pushbutton latch. Stainless steel stay holds the lid in opened position. Powder coated stainless steel saddle bag mounting brackets are included. Brackets mount to two fender rail holes and behind the rear passenger pegs. Turn signals on fender rails must be relocated. This can be done with several after market kits that relocate turn signals to the rear fender.
Sumax also offers bags with "run turn & stop" lighting that require no wiring. Connectors plug right into your harness under your seat. Quick release 1/4 turn dzus fastners attach bags to brackets just like HD Touring models. Saddle bag brackets accept all Harley hard bags 1993 and newer may be purchased separately at $329.00.
