Classic Components Merges Southbay Chrome Plating Company Under One Roof
Classic Components, a chrome plating company, has announced that following their purchase of Southbay Chrome, they’ve merged the two locations into one. Now, customers can experience faster, service that is more efficient and support. In addition, Classic Components has launched a new website under that name at www.chromeplating.com.
With the addition of Southbay Chrome, the merger brought, “over 70 years of combined industry experience together,” according to Vice President of Classic Components, Inc., Gary Glass. The location offers services that include chrome plating wheels, custom chrome plating, and chrome plating restoration among many other services.
After working on combining the operations, previously located at two facilities, since 2007, Glass shared that Classic Components is making major capital improvements to serve customers better.
One way that the chrome plating company has improved their service is through their new website. The site features online order forms, including, www.classiccomponents.com/services/chrome/moto, chrome plating wheels service order form, where customers can either request a quote or fill out the form from the comfort of their own home.
Visitors to the website can also find more information about the chrome plating service process for chrome plating wheels. Classic Components Inc. shares pictures and details about the process in a recent American Bagger Magazine, which they feature on the site.
In addition to sharing the inside job process of chrome plating, the website also has services that make it easy for potential customers to estimate a shipment price and track their shipment. The UPS Freight Quote service on the website helps customers find out shipping costs before sending. Visitors can also type the package weight for smaller orders.
Classic Components, Inc. has taken the guesswork out of shipping by eliminating worry about where the package is during shipment. The website features a page to track a shipment by tracking number or by invoice number. With these new features, the website makes it easy to order for customers that choose to have chrome plating wheels, parts, or restoration performed by Classic Components, Inc.
As well as chrome plating wheels, Classic Components, Inc. also started a program called a Wheel Exchange. They stock motorcycle wheels from many name brand manufacturers for those wishing to exchange factory wheels with chrome plated ones.
The site also features many special projects, including a recent 1960 Lotus Elite story. The chrome plating restoration project, www.classiccomponents.com/services/restoration, featured the car as the customer remembered first seeing it in 1962 to the present when Classic Components, Inc. completed the chrome restoration for the car.
Another recent candy and black chrome plating project includes before and after pictures from the owner of the motorcycle. Classic Components regularly features chrome plating projects on the blog. Visitors can also view enhanced photos and videos of chrome work performed on wheels and parts. The website also has a new Frequently Answered Questions page.
View their improved services, new website and website features by visiting the chrome plating company’s website at www.chromeplating.com.
